DANISH K-Pakistan’s veteran spinner told that due to religion, there used to be insults in the dressing room.

Let us tell you that Pakistan’s legendary leg-spinner Danish Kaneria is known for his bowling. He has taken 261 wickets in 61 Test matches for Pakistan. Apart from this, he has also played 15 ODIs.

Let us tell you for information that former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar had said two years ago that his fellow players used to treat Danish Kaneria in a biased manner because he was a Hindu.

Please tell that Shoaib Akhtar had alleged that some Pakistani cricketers used to refrain from having food with Danish Kaneria. Shoaib says that all this used to happen because Danish was a Hindu. However, Danish Kaneria never directly confirmed this, nor rejected Shoaib’s claims.

Danish Kaneria was accused of spot-fixing. After which his international cricket career ended. In 2012, the England and Wales Cricket Board banned Danish Kaneria for life for allegedly luring his teammates to spot-fixing. At that time Kaneria was a part of Essex County.
