India might have bowled Australia out for 188, but the visitors rattled the hosts’ batting line-up early on.
Ishan Kishan, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav all fell in the first 11 overs. Captain Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul have since anchored the Indian innings and put the hosts back on top.
Australia’s innings started with a lot of promise but ended up crashing and burning in the middle overs. Mitchell Marsh scored quick runs after completing his half-century, and Australia were heading towards a big score.

He first shared a 72-run 63-ball partnership with Steve Smith and then shared a 43-ball 52-run partnership with Marnus Labuschagne. Marsh had scored 41 in the latter stand and fell victim to Ravindra Jadeja after scoring 81 off 65 balls.
Mohammed Shami then took the wickets of Josh Inglis, Cameron Green and Marcus Stoinis as the Australian batting line-up collapsed from 169/4 in the 28th over to 188 all out in the 36th over.
Good start as Mitchell Starc destroyed the Indian batting line-up with his superb bowling. During his brilliant bowling, he took two important wickets of Surya Kumar Yadav and Virat Kohli.
