Virat Kohli’s dismissal sparks debate, controversy. Virat Kohli was dismissed for 44 by debutant Matthew Kuhnman in the second session of India’s first innings on Saturday.
Showing that Kohli must have hit the ball.
Kohli immediately went for a review and UltraEdge showed that the ball was caught between bat and pad.
But TV umpire (UMPIRE) Richard Illingworth held that it was pad first and Kohli had to return to the pavilion courtesy the umpire’s call. Ohli was clearly unhappy watching the replays of his wicket in the dressing room.

Batting coach Vikram Rathour and coach Rahul Dravid were equally unhappy with the umpires’ decision.
Former India cricketers Wasim Jaffer and Abhinav Mukund termed Kohli’s dismissal as unfortunate.
