Suryakumar Yadav came in the top position in ICC T20I rankings-
ICC T20I Ranking:

Indian batsman Suryakumar Yadav still holds the number one spot in the ICC Men’s T20I Batsman Rankings released on Wednesday. From October 2022, the flamboyant Surya is in charge.

However, Surya went through a poor run in the 50-over format, setting a sorry record by becoming the first Indian batsman to record three straight golden ducks during the ODI series against Australia.

With 906 rating points, the right-handed batsman is over 100 points ahead of Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan, who is second (798) in the ICC rankings.

The only Indian batsman in the top 10 is Suryakumar, who had a stellar 2022 in the format. He continued his strong form in the series against New Zealand and Sri Lanka earlier this year.

The next top Indian batsman in the list is former captain Virat Kohli, who is ranked 15th.

Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh is the highest-ranked Indian bowler at number 14, while veteran fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar has slipped to number 19.
Hardik Pandya is second in the list of all-rounders after Shakib Al Hasan.

Haris Rauf and his 10 wickets in three T20 Internationals have taken Shadab Khan to the top spot among Pakistani bowlers.

In the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand, Rauf took four wickets in a row, earning player of the match honors in the opening contest.

The Pakistani pacer finished last week behind Shadab Khan, who was ranked 12th in the T20I bowling rankings, and just ahead of Shaheen Afridi. After taking 10 wickets in the first three T20 matches, Rauf has moved up five places to reach 11th position in the rankings.

While others around him lost ground, Ish Sodhi (620) and Shaheen (624) also moved up four and two places respectively.

The other significant change in the rankings came from Sri Lanka, as Prabhat Jayasuriya continued his remarkable debut in red-ball cricket.

In his very brief six-match Test career, the left-arm spinner took ten wickets in the first Test match against Ireland.

With five five-wicket hauls, Jayasuriya has already taken 43 wickets in six Tests. His career-high seven-wicket haul in the Galle Test against Ireland saw him move up 13 places and into the top 20 of the ICC Test bowling rankings.

Jayasuriya not only set a career high in the ratings (669), but also reached the top spot among Sri Lankan bowlers in Test cricket. At number 32 is Ramesh Mendis (576), who jumped three places after taking four wickets in the second innings of the Test match against Ireland.
