The twists and turns in Virat Kohli and Sourav Ganguly’s handshake snub controversy are far from over. While former India captain Ganguly is working as the ‘Director of Cricket’, several visuals of Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore went viral after the recent IPL 2023 match between Delhi Capitals, leading to social media Users said that the pair might be avoiding each other.
However, there has been no official response from either side on the ongoing speculation since these pictures surfaced. In a video, players and staff of both the teams are seen queuing up to shake hands with each other after the match and Ganguly is seen jumping the queue to avoid handshake with Virat Kohli as DC coach Ricky Ponting was talking to Virat Kohli.
Obviously, Ganguly and Kohli have a past together. When Ganguly was the President of the BCCI, Kohli lost his job as the captain of the Indian cricket team. According to reports, this may have been the reason that there was a rift between the two. However, the cricket players have never given an official response on the matter.
The couple are no longer Instagram followers of each other, it has been revealed. Amidst rumors of Kohli unfollowing Ganguly on Instagram during an IPL match, it has come to light that Ganguly has also unfollowed Kohli.
