The match referee spoke to the on-field umpires about Gambhir and Kohli. The umpires determined to the contrary. That Kohli and Gambhir’s offense qualifies as Level 2. He was fined 100% of his match earnings.
Naveen-ul-Haq, a bowler from Lucknow Super Giants, was found to have breached Level 1 of 2.21. In this case Naveen-ul-Haq was fined 50% of the match cost.

The point to note here is this. Whatever the amount of the fine, Virat Kohli will not pay it. An RCB source told Cricbuzz, “The players have put everything at stake for the team. We do not deduct the fine from their salary.
