Harmanpreet Kaur is an Indian cricketer who plays as an all-rounder in the Indian women’s cricket team. He was born on 8 March 1989 in Moga, Punjab, India.
Kaur is regarded as one of the best all-rounders in women’s cricket and is known for her aggressive batting style and effective off-spin bowling.
Kaur made her debut for the Indian women’s cricket team in 2009 and has been an important member of the team ever since. She has represented India in many international cricket events including Women’s World Cup, Women’s T20 World Cup and Asia Cup.
In 2017, she was named captain of the Indian women’s cricket team and became the first woman from India to play in the Women’s Big Bash League.

In 2019, she was signed by Sydney Thunder for the 2019–20 Women’s Big Bash League season, becoming the first Indian cricketer to play in the league.
In recognition of her contribution to Indian cricket, Kaur has received several awards and honours. He was awarded the Arjuna Award in 2017 and was also named the ODI Player of the Year by the Board of Control for Cricket in India in 2019.
