Virat Kohli: In the 43rd match of IPL 2023, a fierce battle was witnessed between both Royal Challengers Bangalore star batsman Virat Kohli and Lucknow Super Giants mentor Gautam Gambhir. During this match Virat Kohli had an argument with Naveen-ul-Haq which is not over yet. Today after 5 days, Kohli has taken a big step to deal with this controversy.
Kohli complains to BCCI

As per Dainik Jagran’s report, Virat Kohli wrote a letter to the BCCI after 5 days of the controversy telling that he was not at fault. After the fight, the BCCI fined Kohli and Gambhir 100 per cent of their match fees and Naveen 50 per cent. Kohli had suffered a loss of Rs 1 crore 7 lakh due to this.
So Kohli wrote a letter to the BCCI claiming that he had not used any foul words during the altercation with Naveen-ul-Haq and Gautam Gambhir that day. He has also complained about Naveen ul Haq in this letter.
What was the whole matter between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir?
The Bengaluru team had given Lucknow a target of 127 runs in this match, in response to which the Lucknow team, captained by KL Rahul, could score only 108 runs. With this Bengaluru won the match. After the match was over, the players of both the teams were shaking hands on the field.
During this, there was a heated argument between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir. Players from both the teams tried to stop Gambhir and Kohli from going near each other but they did not succeed. A fuming Gautam Gambhir approached Virat Kohli and there was a heated argument between the two.

Gambhir continues to play in that order, aggressive and specialist for an audience. He has also been made the mentor of the Lucknow team. On the other hand, Kohli is the fulcrum of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team in Bangalore though he is captained by Faf du Plessis.
